This is a post that is so hard to do because it marks the day two years ago that we lost my precious niece, Nicole Allen, in an accident caused by a drunk driver. If you read my profile you will see that she is my reason for scrapbooking. It was so senseless that she had to die at 21 years of age because someone thought they had the right to drive drunk. My heart is so heavy, it still feels like it just happened. I hope that everyone thinks twice or three times or more before they EVER get under the wheel of a vehicle under the influence. If you think it won't happen to you, you better think again. It's FOREVER that lives are changed! And for those of you who have also lost a loved one in the same way, my love and prayers go out to you. Sorry this is such a downer for those who just wanted to come and pick up a freebie QP but it is something that weighs heavy on my heart. Nicole's favorite colors were pink and black so I haved used my new (as of yet un-named) kit to make this tribute page for her. God bless you all!
Married 11 years to my soulmate, Mother of 5 (two are step-sons), Grandmother of 6. I work full-time but I scrap every chance I get.
I got into digital scrapbooking in June of 2007 after the untimely death of my precious niece, Nicole, who was killed by a drunk driver. She was only 21 years old and also loved scrapbooking (the traditional way). She was studying photography in college and was an awesome artist. She left a wonderful legacy for her mother of many scrapbooks that have been such a comfort. I also want to be able to leave a legacy for my family when I am gone. Thanks Nicole for your inspiration and you live on in our hearts. Your light will always burn bright, I love you little one!
